E-Bike Overview

  • Our fleet of fat tire, BMX style premium electric bikes are powered by a 500W motor, have a top speed of 32 km/h and are perfect for riding in the Niagara Escarpment.  Single riders only.

  • The seat & handle bars are adjustable

  • There are three ways to ride the ebike:

  • 1) Pedaling (7 speed grip shifter, just like a regular bike)

  • 2) Thumb throttle ("Gas pedal" type functionality)

  • 3) Pedal assist (6 levels, similar to a cruise control. You maintain a minimum speed while pedaling.)


  • Our ebikes are equipped with a fully-charged 48V 14Ah lithium-ion battery.  The battery range depends on weight, terrain, wind and riding style.

  • Based on a weight of 170 lbs, the range is 35 km with no pedaling, 65 km with light pedaling and 85 km with normal pedaling.

  • Riding to Niagara-on-the-Lake is a 50 km round trip. Riding to Fort Erie is 70 km round trip.  You can take an spare battery for $20.
